Marble Canyon is one of my favorite places in the state of Arizona. This painting represents my first attempt at capturing its wonder.
At the New Hampshire family farm there is an herb garden that includes an old white bench. This bench is the subject of this painting.
A few years back I visited the beautiful state of South Carolina. While at a relatives country home I came upon this wonderful old shed sitting on the edge of a small meadow. I talk a bit about what was important to me in the scene and how I tried to emphasize the various components.
